Sindh Transmission & Dispatch Company Private Limited is a subsidiary of Sindh Energy Holding Company (Pvt.) Limited wholly owned by Government of Sindh and registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on 7th January 2015, under Companies Ordinance 1984.

 

STDC is an important link by undertaking the requirement of Power Transmission Lines and Substations to evacuate the power by connecting Generators (Seller) with Utility/End User (Buyer). Our sole aim is to provide exquisite and unheard features to the concept of Electric Power Industry with the help of strategic partners.

 

STDC is engaged in the business of provision of extra high voltage electric power infrastructure, High Voltage Transmission Lines, Virtual Power Plants, Smart Grids and Micro Grids, as our core business.

 

STDC has successfully executed its first ever provincial transmission line project of 132 KV Double Circuit of around 100 KMs from Sindh Nooriabad Power Company Limited (SNPC & SNPC-II) located at Nooriabad Sindh to K-Electric KDA-33 Scheme Grid Station Karachi. This project was funded by Government of Sindh. Inaugural ceremony of the transmission line was held on May 31, 2017. NEPRA being the regulatory body has awarded Special Purpose Transmission License (SPTL) to STDC on December 17, 2015 for a period of 30 years.

 

STDC adheres to its company policy regarding Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) and has acquired certifications of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. STDC takes health safety & environment as integral part of its corporate policy and have “Zero Tolerance” for any negligence. STDC vows to follow and maintain HSE levels up to high standards.

 

For STDC future projects of electric power infrastructure, we always welcome foreign investments from Governments & private sectors to invest in Pakistan and encourage Public Private Partnership Projects, Sindh Province in particular. Future Services of STDC include Operations & Maintenance of Transmission Lines & Sub-stations, Rehabilitation of Transmission Line Networks, Transmission Line Losses Control, Conversion of Conventional Grid to Smart Grid and Provision of Community Grid Acquisition of Transmission Line Assets, Virtual Power Plants for Renewable Energy Resources and Utility Grade Storage Batteries for renewable energy resources.
